Just if you don't know, I'm some kind of fan... maybe you can notice, not sure... I really love their artwork... well... this is a video I found some time ago (some years ago...) ...

合法 ドラッグ / Drug & Drop

 

Well, you know, I really love CLAMP drawings a lot. And I was just reading vol. 2 (chapter 15) of this manga. Before the title was 'Legal Drugs', with that they were 3 volumes, but not much advance on the story line before the group decided to work on another things (Tsubasa and so 6_6). After some years (8 more or less)  I really wasn't expected them to resume one of their projects. But with this new title, the continuation is out, and I have to say... I really like this.  Because, they're now showing me a little more about the characters. It's on-going, so I hope they can finish this without problems. 

Bueno, ya saben, me encantan los dibujos de CLAMP. Y estaba justo leyendo el tomo 2 (el capítulo 15) de este manga. Antes el título era 'Legal Drugs', con ese nombre salieron 3 tomos, pero no hubo mucho avance en la historia antes de que decidieran trabajar en otras cosas (como Tsubasa y eso 6_6 ...). Después de algunos años (8 más o menos) realmente no esperaba que lo retomaran. Pero con este nuevo título ya se está continuando. Y tengo que decir... realmente me gusta esto. Porque ahora están mostrando un poco más de los personajes. Es un proyecto sin finalizar, así que espero puedan terminarlo sin problemas. 

More intriguing for me. The drawing is nice, not as beauty as other of CLAMP's work, but it's nice and I like it.  There are characters from another titles of their works here too when they are doing jobs, because it's the same 'world' as xxxHolic, Wish, Kobato and Suki Dakara Suki.

Más intirgante para mi. El dibujo es bonito, no tanto como otros de sus trabajos, pero me gusta. Hay personajes de otras series apareiendo cuando hacen sus trabajos a veces, esto porque es el mismo 'mundo' en el que se desarrolla xxxHolic, Wish, Kobato y Suki Dakara Suki.

The characters are Kazahaya Kudou and Rikuou Himura. The plot starts with Rikuou finding a Kazahaya in winter, too much near to death. He takes the boy to the place he's staying. It seems he's working in a drug's store. The owner is a weird man. But they are in there helping with the shop and also, make some other works, supernatural ones. Kazahaya decides to work there to have money. He wants to have a place for him. And also, those 2 have some powers. Kazahaya is able to see pictures of the past when he touches someone. His empathy is something, he can be at the point to absorb the memories an emotions of other, almost all by the contact with them. And Rikuou ... his powers, not really sure, but it's like he can break things easily... Watching some of their jobs, it's some kind of telekinesis. 

Los personajes son Kazahaya Kudou y Rikuou Himura. Todo empieza con Rikuou encontrando a Kaahaya en invierno, bastante cerca de morir. El lleva al chico al sitio donde se está quedando. Parece que el trabaja en una farmacia. El dueño es un hombre algo extraño.  Ellos están ahí ayudando con la tienda pero también hacen otro tipo de trabajos, más sobrenaturales. Kazahaya decide trabajar ahí para tener dinero. Quiere conseguir un lugar para él. Su empatía es algo, llegando al punto de absorber las emociones o recuerdos de otros cuando está en contacto con ellos. Y Rikuo... sus poderes no estoy muy segura, pero parece que el puede romper cosas fácilmente... Viéndolo en los trabajos supongo que es alguna especie de poder como telequinésis. 

I like the contrast between them, not only physical, but psychological. As Kazahaya is impulsive and small, Rikuou is tall and looks really strong and cold, he's quiet and has more calm compared to his co-worker. And if you're asking what it's the interesting thing? Is about their past. Kazahaya with a girl named Kei and Rikuo with a woman called Tsukiko. Those seems to mark their paths... but also, like now are together, things are going to turn into something interesting. The owner of the shop said they was like destined to be in there. Before, I didn't found anything strange on the owner or his companion, sure it was like Kakei (the owner) knew before hand a lot of the things happening, but I didn't pay much attention. He has some power like precognition, but only works with people that aren't more powerful than himself. He is a weird guy, but it's not bad (that doesn't mean he's a really good person). It's a surprise to know where they come from in the last chapters...

Me gusta el contraste entre ambos, no solo físico, pero psicológico. Mientras Kazahaya es impulsivo y pequeño, Rikuo es más alto y se ve realmente fuerte y frío, es callado y ma´s calmado comparado con su compañero. Y si aún se preguntan cuál es la parte interesante en esto, es acerca de sus pasados. Kazahaya con una chica llamada Kei y Rikuo con una mujer llamada Tsukiko. Eso parece marcar sus caminos... perotambién, como ahora están juntos, las cosas empiezan a ponerse interesnates. El dueño de la tienda dice que eso estaba como destinado a suceder. Antes no encontré nada extraño en cuanto a Kakei (el dueño de la tienda) y su acompañante, claro que era bastante raro y parecía que sabía las cosas antes de que sucedieran, pero no presté demasiada atención a eso. El tiene algo como precognición, pero solo funciona con personas que no son tan poderosas como él. Es un hombre extraño, pero no es malo (no significa que sea una muy buena persona tampoco). Es una sorpresa ver de donde provienen en los últimos capítulos...

But I have to warn you, maybe this isn't yaoi, but it's the work from CLAMP with more hints about that topic, if you ask me. So, if you don't really like that kind of situation, this isn't really for you. You can try to ignore it, but it's complicated sometimes XD
Pero tengo que advertirles, tal vez esto no es yaoi, pero es el trabajo de CLAMP que tiene más pistas sobre ese tema si me preguntan. Así que si no les va mucho ver situaciones como esa, esto no deberían verlo... pueden ignorarlo pero a veces es complicado xD

I was just playing around (?) and then I was seeing the books and mangas ... so I noticed that since I bought them... I never read this manga (I read it before online, but I didn't have the luck to find the vol. 7 on the net on that time -complete, at least-) ... and I totally forgot. 

The story is about a young boy called Subaru Sumeragi, it doesn't matter how he looks, he es an onmyōji . He is part of one of the most powerful families with this 'magician' powers. He lives in Tokyo with his twin sister Hokuto (She is always with something with the clothes. Actually he wears wha she made, but he never was so concern about it). They also have a friend, a guy called Seishiro Sakurazuka, a kind veterinarian who says he's in love with Subaru. All normal here (actually there's a lot of funny scenes about that, they really like it to mess with Subaru). 

Well, he's an onmyouji and his family have cases to solve, that's the important thing, at least in the most of the chapters. Well, Hokuto is always saying about Seishiro to be a Sakurazukamori (this is another family, but the use the power they have to kill, soy basically is the opposite of Sumeragi clan.  And there is that dream about a little Subaru meeting someone under a Sakura tree, but he actually can't remember whatever this man say to him. And he's always wearing gloves. His granmother (the 12th head of the family -Subaru is the thirteenth-) gave them to him and the order was never be without them... a little weird, you know? ... but well, Subaru is a good child and he did it like that.

As you can guess that person in the dream was Seishiro under the tree and in that time, Subaru watched him killing a girl, because of his words, Seishiro set a bet with him instead of killing him. And actually the las 3 volumes are the ones 'finishing' this plot about the bet.  Ok, let me tell you... on volume five, the first chapter really makes me want to cry... I read it again a few days ago.... and damn... I still want to cry xD but maybe it's just me (?).

Oh, one thing more! The story continues in X-1999 ... but X is unfinished, still, you can read it if you want to know what happened after e_e' (about this too, you will have enougj even with the series unfinished) ...  all this... is a little traumatic (?) ...  Talking about that.. .no, there's no anime series, but 2 OVAS ... and a Live Action (but I couldn't find it to watch it... so, I don't really know about it)...

Tokyo Babylon... hace poco noté, que a pesar de haber comprado los tomos hace algún tiempo, nunca leí el último completo (porque en el tiempo que yo lo leía, los capítulos del tomo 7 estaban sueltos por ahí y realmente no llegué a ver todos juntos) ... Primero... la verdad es que en serio el capítulo 1 del tomo 5 me dan ganas de llorar. 

Eso no es algo común conmigo. Esta serie hecha por el grupo CLAMP es la historia de un chico de 16 años llamado Subaru Sumeragi, perteneciente a una familia que tiene ciertos poderes que usan mayoritariamente para aceptar trabajos, siendo Subaru el actual lider (el treceavo) es quien se encarga en Tokyo (donde vive con su hermana gemela Hokuto, las órdenes le llegan de su abuela, por lo que vi, que es la 12va lider). Tinen un amigo, un joven veterinario llamado Seishiro Sakurazuka y quien dice estar enamorado de Subaru. Hokuto se la pasa vistiendo a Subaru de formas un poco extravagante a veces, que a él no parece importarle mucho si va con eso o con algo que no tenga chiste... 

En algún par de ocasiones entre las bromas recurrentes, Hokuto bromea diciendo que Seishiro podría ser un Sakurazukamori, nunca pasa de un comentario y así, pero esa familia son como el contrario a la de ellos, y utilizan sus poderes para matar. Para esto, Subaru siempre usa guantes por órdenes de su abuela, que le ha dicho que nunca se los quite, esto fue cuando era un niño. De esa época, Subaru tiene un sueño acerca de encontrarse con alguien debajo de un árbol de cerezos floreciendo. El no lo recuerda, ni puede escuchar lo que el otro le dice. 

Bueno, ese hombre era Seishiro y él lo presenció matando a una niña, por lo cual Seishiro debió matarlo, pero en su lugar hizo una apuesta con él. Y bueno... esto se resuelve en los últimos 3 tomos, creo...

Por cierto.. si quieren ver qué pasa más adelante, la historia continua en X-1999 ... pero este manga no fue terminado... aún así, si es sobre ellos, creo que suficiente tendrán... es un poco traumático (?) *en serio... xD* ... Otra cosa, no hay serue de anime, pero tiene 2 OVAS y un Live Action que no he visto así que no sé que decirles sobre esa película.
