This was a special drawing, ok? These characters belongs to Fany, it was her birthday some days ago and I didn't know what can I give her, and in the last minute (the night before) decided to do something like this to her...
Este era un dibujo especial, ok? Los personajes pertenecen a Fany, era su cumple hace unos días y no sabía que darle, y en el último minuto (la noche anterior) decidí hacer algo como esto para ella...
And, well, I took photos, so I guess I can explain how I work normally on color drawings (it's simple, really, but xD well... I'm this kind of person... pencil colors, as you can notice, I usually work with them... just because it's what I have in that moment...)
Y bueno, tomé fotos, así que pensé que podía explicar cómo trabajo normalmente con los dibujos a color (es simple, en serio, pero bueno xD ... soy esta clase de persona... colores de madera, como pueden ver, usualmente trabajo con ellos... porque es lo que tengo al momento...
So, First step, of course is the idea... I did a sketch some time ago and that was my initial one... so, after that you need to make a clean version (well, sometimes I do it directly, but this one, you can notice I did it in my notebook... so it didn't help too much with that lines) ... And yeah, the idea can change in this stage xD I was looking and I ended changing the pic a lot....
Así que primer paso, por supuesto es la idea... Hice un boceto hace un tiempo y esa fue mi base para este... así que después de eso necesitan pasarlo a limpio o limpiar la imagen (a veces trabajo directamente con el original, pero en este podrán notar que lo hice en mi libreta y las rayas no ayudaban mucho que digamos)... Y claro, la idea puede cambiar en esta parte xD Estaba viendo y terminé cambiando bastante la imagen...
The colors... well, usually I do it in this order: skin, hair, clothes... In this case I didn't went with hair in second because it was red and black and I didn't want to have my drawing all messy and with stains... (red and black made that difficult for me, always I have stains everywhere... so, this was: skin, clothes, hair...)
Los colores... bueno, normalmente lo hago en este orden: piel, cabello, ropa... En este caso no hice el cabello en segundo porque eran negro y rojo y no quería tener mi dibujo todo desastroso y manchado.. (rojo y negro me lo hacen difícil en esto, siempre tengo manchas por todos lados... así que fui : piel, ropa, cabello...)
The skin, normally I use two layers in skin... in the case the character has a little more darker skin, then I use three... or if it's pale, then just one... Here, with one of them I use two, and the other one is realy really pale, so I just did the shadows...
La piel, normalmente uso dos capas en la piel... en el caso de que el personaje sea un poco más moreno, entonces uso tres... o si es pálido solo una... Aquí, usé en uno de ellos dos, en el otro como es muy pálido, bastante pálido solo hice las sombras...
As you can tell, I do the shadows in every layer, it's just I'm used to it, more than it's needed... It can be a flat color layer anthen a layer with the shadows and looks nice...
Como puedn notar, hago las sombras en cada capa, es más porque estoy acostumbrada y no que sea realmente necesario ... Puede ser una capa sólida de color y luego una de sombras y se ve bien...
And well, the rest is exactly the same... I used two kinds of green (just like I did with skin), but the rest are just one layer in every clothing article (?) ...
Y bueno, el resto es exactamente lo mismo... Usé dos tipos de verde (como hice con la piel), pero el resto tiene solo una capa en cada prenda de vestir...
Finally... the hair... Well... It's the same, but I always try to make it following the lines of the hair, to make it look just like hair xD You can make the shadows and lights with eraser or using two tones... I did it different in this one 'cos I did all in the same step while coloring ._. You don't have to do it, I just didn't have that much time and I couldn't find the eraser I use to do that 6_6
Finalmente... el cabello... Bueno... Es lo mismo, pero siempre trato de hacerlo siguiendo las líneas del cabello para hacerlo parecer, bien, como cabello xD Pueden hacer las luces y las sombras con borrador o usando dos tonos... Lo hice diferente en este porque lo hice todo en el mismo paso al colorear ._. No tienen que hacerlo, yo solo no tenía tanto tiempo y no pude encontrar el borrador que uso para eso XD
And ... that's it... Easy, right? I'm not that complicated... This is how I do, almost everything :p
